About us

Have a drink on the roof garden at the Hotel Forum, it offers a nearly cinematic view of the forum across the street. Complementary chips and peanuts are nice.We enjoyed our drinks and view of the city of Rome. We will come back

We stayed in the hotel in September. The staff were excellent throughout from the welcoming reception and concierge right the way to the restaurant. We have stayed here previously and chose the hotel because of its very good location , its terrace restaurant and the friendly staff. We were not disappointed. Breakfast is a relaxed affair overlooking the forum from the rooftop. The breakfast is very good. We had a junior suit , deluxe room with a view and a standard room. All were clean , well appointed and very comfortable. The deluxe room , Room 401, had a lovely view across the forum and was well appointed. If you are planning a trip to Rome stay here it is a great family run hotel that has been improved. Its location is ideal, the rooms are very comfortable, the rooftop bar is great for aperitif's, looking out across the Roman night sky. The rooftop restaurant is very good though we felt that the menu had changed and was offering less selection than in previous stays. All in all a great 4 star hotel to use as a base for your Roman holiday.

This hotel is very near the Colosseum and literally across the road from ruins. The staff on reception are very friendly and polite. The check in process was very easy and they allowed us early access to one of the 2 rooms we'd booked. The rooms are old fashioned and fairly small but perfectly adequate. The breakfast on the terrace roof was included in our package. There was a range of food, including some hot food. There are some good, reasonably priced restaurants within a couple of minutes walking distance from the hotel. (We didn't enjoy the food at the restaurant recommended by the concierge!). There was free wifi in the rooms.

We had the most amazing weekend in Rome to celebrate my husband's birthday. The Hotel Forum is in an amazing position overlooking the forum and we had a fantastic room with dual aspect views over Rome. The service was excellent and the breakfast in the morning overlooking the city was amazing. Thank you to the Hotel for making our weekend so special.

The Hotel Forum is right next to the historic Forum area of Rome (our room looked out over it) and is a few minute's walk from the Coliseum, with easy access to the rest of Rome via the metro station.
Their wonderful 'American Bar' on the roof allows you to watch the sun go down over this amazing historical area.
The staff were amazing and helpful and we ate in their roof top restaurant which was mainly busy with locals, which is always a good sign.
    The food was excellent.

When you visit Rome the thing that matters is being close to the history and culture.
This hotel is as good as it gets in that respect, being a short stroll away from the Colloseum and the Forum. Right in the heart of the Eternal City.
Our room was  large. It was clean, the linen was changed regularly, and we were comfortable.
The staff were extremely helpful, though. No praise high enough for them.
All in all we enjoyed our stay, and it made such a difference being able to walk to the sights we wanted to see!
